We are monitoring the western Caribbean for tropical development over the next few days.
A wave of moisture is forecast to drift into the Gulf of Mexico by Thursday where some slow development is possible.
Right now it does not look like a strong system will form, but tropical rains will be moving into our area by the weeks end. The NHC currently has a 10% chance for development over the next 2 day, but the new extended forecast for days 3,4 & 5 have a 30% chance of development.
