It is warm and muggy on this Wednesday morning with early morning temperatures only bottoming out in the upper 60s to low 70s. Skies are clearing a bit, but the sun we see will eventually drive clouds, showers and storms by this afternoon. Some of the rain will be heavy at times and a strong storm is not likely, but is still possible.
We cool down and dry out tonight into tomorrow. In fact, tomorrow morning will be 10-15 degrees cooler than this morning. It won't be cold, it's just that we woke up to temperatures near 70 this morning. Dew points will drop and skies will gradually clear tomorrow bringing back that great December, Florida weather! Temperatures will run a little above the average of 73 through the weekend. Highs will top out near 78 each day.
Today: Partly cloudy this morning with showers and storms starting midday and going on and off through 11 p.m. Winds will be S-SW 10 mph with highs in the upper 70s. Rain chance is 70%.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies with a lingering sprinkle after midnight, then drying and partly cloudy. Winds will blow NW-N 10 mph with lows in the upper 50s.
