A cold, dry airmass in place has prompted a freeze warning overnight for Citrus and Hernando Counties.  The warning is from 2am until 8am Monday morning and indicates that sub-freezing temperatures are expected for two or more hours.  Patchy fog will also  be possible for much of the Nature Coast. If you live in these areas  it will be important to cover or bring sensitive vegetation inside.  Also, do not leave pets outside overnight in these cold temperatures. While most of the Nature Coast will see lows in the 30's, widespread 40's and low 50's will be found for Tampa Bay and points south.

As high pressure shifts east of the area on Monday, we are expecting a nice warm up by the afternoon with high temps rebounding into the upper 70's.  Southeast winds will keep temps above average Monday night through Tuesday.  A weak cold front will move through the region late Tuesday into Wednesday morning.  Moisture will be very limited with this front, and  there will only be a slight chance of sprinkles Wednesday morning.

Overnight Clear, with a low around 45. North northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Monday Sunny, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the morning.
