A fairly strong cold front has ushered in a reinforcing shot of cool air that will result in some of the coldest temps of the season so far this weekend.  Lows will range from the low 30's on the Nature Coast to the mid and low 40's for Tampa and points south.   Plenty of sunshine will warm temps to around 70 by Sunday afternoon with very low humidity levels.

A freeze watch is in effect for Citrus County including the cities of Crystal River and Inverness from late Sunday night through Monday morning.   This means temperatures below 32 degrees are possible for a duration of two to three hours.  Damage is possible to cold sensitive plants.  Make sure to cover or bring the plants indoors.  Also make sure to bring pets inside to protect them from the cold.

As high pressure moves east into the Atlantic on Monday, a warming trend will ensue.  Temps by Monday afternoon will be in the mid to upper 70's with lows around 60 for southern locations.  On Wednesday, another cold front will move through bringing with it a few clouds and a slight chance of sprinkle.  Sunny, dry, and mild weather will continue after the frontal passage through next weekend.
