As high pressure settles across the area for the next 48 hours we can expect generally quiet weather with mostly sunny skies and seasonably cool temps. Dry air moving into the region will result in mostly clear skies overnight with light north winds. The clearing skies will set the stage for good radiational cooling, allowing temps to fall below average. We will see temps range from the upper 40's on the Nature coast to the upper 50's for southern coastal zones.
A tight pressure gradient between an area of low pressure in the Atlantic off the southeastern U.S. coast and high pressure to the north will result in breezy conditions on Monday. Daytime highs will be in the mid 70's with mostly sunny skies. Winds will pick up even more on Wednesday as a cold front moves through the Tampa Bay area bringing a 20% chance of showers. Following the frontal passage, high temps will be in the low 70's with plenty of sunshine for Thanksgiving Day.
