Rain will linger into the early afternoon for Sarasota, Manatee, Hardee, Desoto and Highlands Counties.
A much cooler & drier airmass will work its way into the region for Tuesday night with lows dropping into the 40's for northern zones and to the mid 50's for the south.

New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
