Hot sun with scattered thunderstorms.
Sunday will be the transition day as we start to move into a drier pattern. The dominant winds will become northeasterly ushering in less humid air. However, with enough moisture in place and good daytime heating, we will still have a 30% chance of afternoon storms. Temperatures will run a few degrees above average with highs near 90. The atmosphere will continue to dry out through the work week as ridging builds in across the area both at the surface and in the mid and upper levels. This will result in some beautiful, although warm, fall like weather across the Tampa Bay area.
