Forecast: Rainy pattern ahead

A possible shower may show up early Monday morning near the coast otherwise the bulk of the days rain will form over the near beach area and drift inland through the day.  Look for a 50% rain chance with showers into Sunset.  

The tropics are quiet with no active storms and long range models keep it that way for the rest of August.  Wouldn't that be nice during the typically busy month of August.

Monday Thunderstorms will be numerous by the afternoon with a 50% chance of rain. Winds S 5 mph turning SW 5-10 by afternoon.
