Wozniacki topped Annika Beck in the final of the Luxembourg Open on Sunday.
The top-seeded Wozniacki cruised past Beck 6-2, 6-2 to claim her first title
Wozniacki, the 2008 Luxembourg runner-up, won a tournament for the first time
since last October in Moscow. The Dane played in her second final of 2013
and first since losing to Maria Sharapova in Indian Wells. She improved to
21-13 all-time in title matches.
Beck appeared in a WTA final for the first time. The 19-year-old German's
best previous result this year was a semifinal loss to Roberta Vinci in Poland
back in April.
Sunday's meeting was the first between Wozniacki and Beck.
Wozniacki collected $44,000 with the victory.
