Los Angeles, CA-- Lightning captain Marty St. Louis skated in his 1,000th NHL game Tuesday night, Nov. 19.
He becomes the 286th player in NHL history, to reach that milestone. St. Louis split his time between two teams: 69 games with the Calgary Flames, and 931 with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Marty was undrafted out of the University of Vermont. He signed with the Lightning in 2000, as a free agent, and is in his 13th season with the Bolts.
The Lightning will honor St. Louis, before the next home game on Monday against the NY Rangers, with a pregame presentation.
