With two games left to play in the regular season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still battled even though the playoffs have been a distant memory for weeks. Tampa Bay lost to the St. Louis Rams, 23-13 Sunday afternoon.

The Rams had a big second quarter. Zac Stacy capped an 80 yard drive with a touchdown from a yard out to tie the game 7-7. After a Bobby Rainey fumble, the Rams ran a double reverse and Stedman Bailey scored from 27-yards out to give St. Louis the lead.

The Rams were about to punch it in again but St. Louis quarterback Kellen Clemens fumbled inside the 5- yard line and Tampa Bay recovered. The Bucs forced another fumble on the Rams' next drive. Dekota Watson jarred the ball free from Stacy and Lavonte David recovered the ball near midfield. That led to a  35-yard Rian Lindell field goal to end the half.

The Bucs scored first thanks to a 1-yard touchdown run by Rainey on the team's second drive. Mike Glennon passed for 59 yards on the drive including a pair of long hookups with Vincent Jackson.

The Bucs are the second-most penalized team in the NFL and are last in the league in third-down conversations. Tampa Bay is 4-11 on the season and has now lost three of its last four games. The Bucs wrap up the season against the Saints on December 29.
