Tampa, Florida -- ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that Bucs' quarterback Josh Freeman is in State 1 of the NFL Drug Program.
This doesn't mean that Freeman has failed a drug test, nor is he one strike away from a suspension.
The story says that Freeman has a temporary exemption for use of a prescription drug, that would normally be on the NFL banned list.
