Expectations of the postseason are growing while the Bucs continue to lose players. At Wednesday's practice Adam Heyward worked with the first team linebackers and will likely get the start in Carolina filling the vacancy of Quincy Black who was placed on Injured Reserve yesterday.
Offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah (Undisclosed Injury) and defensive end Michael Bennett (Shoulder & Ankle) were not involved in practice, they were off to the side watching from bikes.
A loss of another offensive lineman would be a huge blow to the Bucs. Davin Joseph and Carl Nicks are already out for the season. Zuttah has been filling in for Nicks, shifting over from center where Ted Larsen took over in the win against Chargers.
The Bucs will head to Charlotte in search of their fourth straight win. The Pewter and Red opened up their season at Raymond James Stadium with a victory over the Panthers by stifling Cam Newton and Carolina's offense.
If Tampa Bay can win on Sunday, it will mark the first time they've won 3 games in a row on the road since 2005. In that playoff season, the third win in the string of road victories came in the Queen City.
The last time the Buccaneers won four in a row with three of the wins coming on the road, they went on to win the Super Bowl in 2002.
Tampa Bay is going for their fourth win in as many games and are currently a 1.5 point favorite for the 1:00 PM NFC South showdown at Bank of America Stadium.
