San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Tony Parker scored 24 of his 28 points in
the second half to lead the San Antonio Spurs past the Los Angeles Lakers,
102-91, in Game 2 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series.
For the second straight game the Spurs pulled away behind a balanced attack
and are headed to Los Angeles for Game 3 on Friday with a 2-0 series lead.
Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan each chipped in 16 points while Manu Ginobili
added 13 in 19 minutes for the Spurs, who shot 51 percent from the field.
Steve Blake and Dwight Howard netted 16 apiece for the Lakers, but Blake left
in the second half with a right hamstring strain. Metta World Peace and Pau
Gasol each donated 13 points in the loss.
