Aqib Talib had a tough week against the Giants, but back in his home state of Texas he helped Tampa Bay get on the board first against the Cowboys. Talib intercepted Tony Romo on the Dallas' game opening drive. The Bucs took over on the Dallas 29 yard line, and pushed the ball down the field thanks to running back Doug Martin. Martin picked up a fourth and one from the Cowboys' two yard line. On first and goal, Josh Freeman hit Luke Stocker for the Tampa Bay quarterback's fourth touchdown of the season making it 7-0 Buccaneers.
The Tampa Bay defense forced Dallas to punt the ball away on the Cowboys' next drive.
On 3rd and long the Bucs' turned the ball over as Josh Freeman's pass hit DJ Ware, deflecting in to the hands of Dallas linebacker Sean Lee. The Cowboys began their drive from the Buccaneer's 23 yard line and 3 plays later DeMarco Murray punched it in to the end zone tying the game at 7-7.
