Evansville, IN (Sports Network) - Colt Ryan scored 25 points to lead the
Evansville Purple Aces to an 86-72 win over the Eastern Kentucky Colonels in
the second round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament at the Physical
The win gave Evansville (20-14) its first 20 win season since 1999. Troy
Taylor added 16 points, seven assists and seven rebounds and Ned Cox and D.J.
Balentine had 13 points apiece as well for the Purple Aces.
Glenn Cosey dropped in 18 points, Mike DiNunno added 14, Corey Walden tallied
12 and Eric Stutz finished with 11 for Eastern Kentucky (25-10).
The two squads were deadlocked at 43-43 going into halftime. Each was
