Anthony Hickey netted 15 points to lead LSU (9-4, 0-2), which dropped back-to- back contests for the first time all season.
The Tigers shot just 32.3 percent (21-of-65) from the floor.
The Gators led 29-20 at intermission, and the began the second half on a 21-5 run to seize control. Boynton nailed a pair of 3-pointers and recorded eight points overall during the surge, which gave Florida a 50-25 advantage with 12:31 remaining.
