(Sports Network) - Did the Boston Celtics do anything Thursday?
Did they get enough for Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce? Probably not. Both Hall
of Famers in wait have enough left in the tank to contribute for a
championship contending team.
But the Celtics are in complete rebuilding mode.
Coach Doc Rivers is gone. Now too are Garnett and Pierce. Will Rajon Rondo be
the next out the door?

million over the next three years. Jeff Green makes big money. Same for Rondo,
although, with his skill set, his deal is reasonable. They are not shedding a
ton in salary to start from scratch.
Boston then traded up to 13th to secure the rights to Kelly Olynyk. He is a
great offensive big man with shooting skills and a surprising ability to beat
people off the dribble. He is not a conventional center in that he doesn't
have a great back to the basket game.
Olynyk's still worth a shot. As was Colton Iverson, a tough interior player.
