Johnson underwent arthroscopic surgery to remove loose bodies and a bone spur
in his pitching elbow on Tuesday.
According to the Blue Jays Twitter feed, the surgery, performed by Dr. James
Andrews, went well and the right-hander is expected to be ready for spring
Johnson finished the 2013 on the disabled list due to a right forearm strain.
He finished a disappointing season with a 2-8 record and a 6.20 ERA in 16
