Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Johnny
Cueto left Friday's game against the Texas Rangers with an undisclosed injury
in the second inning.
Cueto exited after making 29 pitches and had a 1-2 count on Mitch Moreland
when he left with nobody out in the second. Tony Cingrani relieved Cueto, who
was on the disabled list April 15 - May 19 with a strained right lat and again
earlier this month with a strained right shoulder.
Cueto, who was the club's Opening Day starter for a second straight year, came
into Friday's game with a 4-1 record and 3.21 ERA.
