Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Oswaldo Arcia went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer
and two runs scored to lead the Minnesota Twins to a 5-3 win over the Boston
Red Sox in the finale of a four-game set at Fenway Park.
Ryan Doumit and Aaron Hicks each drove in a run for the Twins, winners in
three straight games.
Kevin Correia (4-2) gave up three runs on nine hits over 5 1/3 innings to get
the win. Glen Perkins stranded a runner in the ninth to pick up his eighth
Dustin Pedroia and Daniel Nava each collected two hits and an RBI, while
Stephen Drew also drove in a run for the Red Sox, who have dropped six of
their last seven games.
John Lackey (1-3) gave up five runs -- one earned -- on six hits while
striking out eight over seven frames to absorb the loss.
