Home runs highlight Rays 7-7 tie

Port Charlotte, FL (Sports Network) - Luke Scott hit a solo home run for Tampa Bay in the seventh inning to help the Rays to a 7-7 draw against Boston in Grapefruit League play.

Carlos Pena and Evan Longoria each hit a solo home run for the Rays. Kyle Farnsworth gave up a run over one inning of starting action while Wade Davis and Jake McGee each pitched three innings.

Mauro Gomez drove in two runs while Pedro Ciriaco scored twice for the Red Sox. Ross Ohlendorf gave up five runs -- four earned -- on seven hits over 3 2/3 innings in the start for Boston.

Jose Lobaton added three hits, two runs scored and two RBI for Tampa Bay.

The Rays travel to Sarasota Sunday to face the Baltimore Orioles.
