Park, Kerr move in front at Canadian Women's Open

Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - Inbee Park fired a 5-under-par 65 on Friday and grabbed a share of the lead through two rounds of the Canadian Women's Open.

The world No. 1 Park, who has won three majors this season, sits at 8-under- par 132 through 36 holes at Royal Mayfair Golf Club.

Cristie Kerr shot 66 to join Park atop the leaderboard, while overnight co- leader Angela Stanford carded a 68 and dropped into a tie for third place with Karine Icher (66) at 7-under.

Defending champion Lydia Ko, who shared the first-round lead with Stanford and Cristel Boeljon, is tied for fifth place courtesy of her second-round 69. The 16-year-old amateur phenom sits at 6-under, alongside Paula Creamer (68) and Laura Davies (66).
