Palm Harbor, Florida -- Preparations are underway at Innisbrook for the PGA TOUR's 2013 Tampa Bay Championship starting next week.

"We don't have permanent structures, we build essentially a village and a new city every year and there's been crews working here since mid January," said tournament Director Kevin Krisle.

Expectations are high as some of the world's best golfers take to the green.

"We have a great field lined up. With great competition and close play and a great leader board. We know the fans of Tampa Bay love having this event and we are appreciative of their support over the years," Kevin said.

The PGA TOUR is also expected to generate big money for Tampa Bay as thousands attend from around the country.

"The event delivers tens of millions of dollars and that's just the week of the tournament," said Krisle.

A lot of work goes on behind the scenes that many don't know about including organization, preparations and a few tricks that look real on TV.

"When you see the golfers tee off this is what will be behind them. This may look like it's made out of stone and stucco but weighs less than 100 pounds total," Jay Vessey, owner of Evolution Studios and Media.

All the monuments you see at the event are not real and the landscape is prepped to look pretty, but easy to move, after the tournament is done.

There is a lot of manpower to put the Tampa Bay Championship together -- six weeks to put up and two-and-a-half weeks to take it down.

"Between the four companies there are about 65 to 80 on any given day, not including the Innisbrook staff," Vessey said.

Just hours away until the doors open, they'll be ready for tee off.

"We're ready, we will be ready!" Vessey reaffirmed.

The tournament begins Monday, March 11 and runs through the 17 and you can purchase your tickets online at http://www.tampabaychampionship.com.
