You know that 5-second rule when it comes to dropped food?

Well, it may be true.

A new study finds that food picked up within a few seconds after being dropped, doesn't pick up that much bacteria.

But the longer you leave it there the more bacteria it will pick up.

Which is good news because researchers also discovered that 87 percent of people surveyed would eat food dropped on the floor  With most of those people following the five second rule.
