(TheTennessean.com) - A fight over a television remote control on Sunday night led to a stabbing that sent one man to the hospital with critical injuries.
Police said Darrell Shull, 55, stabbed Antonio Huddleston twice in the back during a fight inside a North Nashville home. Huddleston was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment, according to Shull's arrest warrant.
A witness at the scene told the responding officer that the two men had been fighting over the TV remote.
During a search of the neighborhood, the officer saw Shull walking with a bloody knife and the remote still in his hand, the warrant said.
Shull was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He remains in jail on a $50,000 bond.
