Pinellas Park, Florida -- A Pinellas Park man is under arrest after police say he offered $100 to have a police officer killed on Facebook.
According to the Pinellas Park Police Department, Bruce Santee II was voicing his opinion about a traffic stop that happened shortly after 2 a.m. Santee allegedly made several disparaging remarks, including ones about assaulting the police officer.
Santee finished his post by offering $100 to anyone who would kill the officer.
The police department is not identifying the officer.
Santee turned himself in to Pinellas Park police at around 3:30 p.m. Monday and was arrested for writing threats to kill or do bodily injury.
