Brandon, Florida -- There is a fundraiser today for the young woman left with permanent disabilities after she was attacked outside the Bloomingdale Library in 2008.
Queena was raped, beat and left for dead by her attacker. Now she requires around the clock care and uses a special van to get her to the doctor and rehab.
Right now the van is not running well so volunteers are trying to raise $45,000 for a new one.
Queena's Golf Scramble will be held on February 15, starting at 11 a.m. at River Hills County Club. Prizes will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams and there will also be course games and an awards dinner.
