FREEPORT, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a 4-month old baby was allegedly poisoned in the Florida Panhandle.
Walton County Sheriff's Office and state child welfare officials responded to a home in Freeport on Saturday after receiving reports that a baby boy was struggling to breathe.
The baby was airlifted to a Pensacola hospital and was on a ventilator Saturday. No other details were given.
The Panama City News Herald reports it's unclear whether the poisoning was intentional or accidental.
