Traffic crash shuts down part of Bloomingdale Avenue

Brandon, Florida -- A car hit a pole early Saturday morning, resulting in the deaths of both driver and passenger. 

Around 4:30 a.m. on February 9, a vehicle was traveling fast on Bloomingdale Avenue when it hit a TECO pole, breaking both the pole and the vehicle in half. 

Both the driver and passenger suffered fatal injuries and died on scene. 

Dali Drive to Bloomingdale Avenue and Kings Avenue to Bloomingdale will be shutdown for at least a few more hours while TECO replaces the pole.
