YBOR CITY, Florida -- A 17-year-old is in custody after authorities say he tried to shoot an ex-girlfriend following the Sant'Yago Knight Parade in Ybor City.

The shooting happened Saturday night at the Centro Ybor Complex, located in the 1600 block of East 7th Avenue. Streets had been packed for the annual parade.

Investigators say the 17-year-old got into an argument with his ex-girlfriend. The fight escalated and the 17-year-old allegedly pulled out a gun and fired a single shot at his ex.  The bullet missed her, but struck a third juvenile.

The victim was taken to Tampa General Hospital and is in stable condition.

Officers went to the ex-boyfriend's home, where they arrested the suspect.
