Sarasota, Florida -- Sarasota's popular chalk festival is having a bit of a cleanup problem three months after the event.
More than a dozen of the drawings remain on the street in the area of Ringling Boulevard and Pineapple Avenue in downtown Sarasota despite cleaning crews pressure washing the road.

City leaders sent a letter to the organizer to come up with a plan or face action by the city. However, city officials say they worry any further cleaning could damage the road.
Festival organizers have told city leaders a crew will try again and assure the road will not be damaged.
