Saint Paul, Minn. -- Lightning center Steven Stamkos will test his broken leg in a game Saturday at the Tampa Bay Times Forum against the Detroit Red Wings.
After Monday's practice, Stamkos said he's ready to play in a game, then decide if he's recovered enough to play for Team Canada in the Sochi Olympics.
Stamkos broke his leg against Boston, Nov. 11, less than three months ago. He maintains if he doesn't feel well enough after Saturday, he won't play in the Olympics.
