Riverview, Florida -- A dog was reunited with his owners after getting seriously injured and lost for days.
Perry, a 10-year-old Miniature Pinscher, accidentally wandered away from his Riverview home and was seriously injured while roaming the streets. Perry had multiple wounds and was found staggering down a road and taken to Boyette Animal Hospital.
Although the hospital did not know who Perry's owner was, doctors performed a surgery that lasted for about two hours and required 25 staples. Perry was also put on pain medication and antibiotics.
Due to microchip technology and the care of the Boyette Animal Hospital team Perry is back with his family and making a full recovery!
