PENSACOLA, FL (CNN) - As a storm cripples the southeast many people are reaching out to help drivers who are stranded on the road.

One man in Pensacola, FL, despite the chilly temperature he hopped out of his truck in a tank and shorts to help drivers get back down a hill.

He had this to say to people driving in the dangerous conditions.

"They don't know how to drive, bottom dollar," Billy Slavey said. "When you come to a hill, don't play. Go up the hill. If you see a stop...in your way, stop. Let him get out of your way."

Wednesday the National Weather Service predicts temperatures around 20 degrees with wind gusts as high as 15 miles an hour.
