MIAMI (AP) - The Coast Guard is searching for a cruise ship cook who went overboard in the Caribbean Sea.

Officials say Inyoman Bagiada of Indonesia fell overboard early Wednesday near the Yucatan Channel. Bagiada was a cook aboard the Celebrity Constellation.

A cruise line spokeswoman says the Coast Guard was notified that a person had gone overboard when a pair of shoes were found next to an outdoor pool deck railing.

According to the cruise line, a review of closed-circuit camera footage showed "a person going overboard" around 2:30 a.m. Officials said the ship's location at that time was then reported to the Coast Guard.

The ship was returning from Cozumel, Mexico, to Port Everglades after a five-day cruise. It resumed its journey after the Coast Guard assumed control of the search.
