Clearwater Beach, Florida -- A heads up if you find yourself around Clearwater Beach on Wednesday.

Don't be worried if you hear some strange sounds. The city is warning us about a series of "loud booms" that are a part of soil testing and construction happening on the former Adam's Mark Hotel site on Gulfview Boulevard.

You might hear the booms in the afternoon, but remember that you don't need to call 9-1-1.
