Lakeland, FL - A new automotive distribution center is bringing hundreds of jobs to the Sunshine State.
Governor Rick Scott made a stop through Polk County Friday morning and announced the official grand opening of the O'Reilly Auto Parts distribution center.
The new warehouse is the first of its kind in Florida and is creating hundreds of new jobs.
"It's a great day for Lakeland, Polk county for the state of Florida but more importantly it's a great day for the 160 people that have already gotten jobs and the total of 400 people that are going to get jobs," said Governor Scott.
The warehouse opened for business on Monday. There are 4,000 O'Reilly stores nationwide.
