Suspect in stolen car injures officer

St. Petersburg, FL - St. Pete Police are looking for the man who hit a police cruiser with a stolen car, injured an officer and then took off.

It happened at the Quick Stop convenience store on 49th street south.

The officer was injured while the suspect was driving away.

Police say his injuries do not appear to be serious.

Now police are asking for your help finding the suspect.

He's driving the stolen black 2006 Mazda six, with a stolen license plate, tag number G-1-4-2-L-V.

Police say the man is in his 20s, about 6-1 and was last seen in a black hoodie and black jeans.
