(Kens5.com) -- Many would say the 2014 BCS National Championship game between Florida State and Auburn University was a close one. But was it close enough for Auburn to go down as the winners on the championship shirts?
According to Florida State's Seminole Shop, it was.
Eager fans who flocked to own a championship shirt were met with a major typo -- an incorrect final score blasted across the T-shirts - showing that the Tigers won, 34-31, instead of the Seminoles, according to Bleacher Report.
The mistake was made by the official online store for Florida State athletics, according to a company spokesperson.
The blasphemous error was immediately corrected and the company apologized for the inconvenience.
