Sarasota County, Florida -- Continuing bridge repairs on southbound I-75 at Ponce de Leon overpass in Sarasota County could cause some headaches for travelers.
Southbound lanes of the interstate will close Sunday at 10 p.m. so that workers can continue repairs.
The lanes will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.
Drivers will be detoured on the following routes:
- Southbound traffic will exit I-75 at River Road (exit 191) and travel west on River Road to southbound US 41.
- Motorists will proceed approximately nine miles to Sumter Boulevard, turn east and continue to the southbound entrance ramp onto I-75 (exit 182).
