Selenia Quinones has been the school leader, or principal, at Imagine Charter School, since August last year.
Lakewood Ranch, Florida -- The State Attorney's Office in Manatee County says the principal of a Lakewood Ranch Charter school will not face charges for failing to report failing to report suspected child abuse between Pre-K students.
A state attorney cleared Imagine Charter School Principal Selenia Quinones saying there is insufficient evidence to prove that she believed sex acts between students occurred and that Quinones willfully ignored her obligation to report it to authorities.
Quinones was placed on administrative leave in October. School officials will hold a press conference at the school Monday at 10 a.m.
