Detectives looking for Palm Harbor burglary suspect

PALM HARBOR, Florida -- Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly stole from a home in unincorporated Palm Harbor on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says the suspect entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the home and stole the victim's wallet. He then reportedly entered an open garage, unlocked another vehicle, and left with two bicycles.

A witness saw the suspect riding what might have been one of the stole bikes on Friday, Sept. 6 in the area of East Lake and Tampa Road in the early afternoon.

The sheriff's office says the suspect is a white male with dark hair. He was last seen wearing dark gray shorts and white tennis shoes with no shirt and a backpack.
