Armed robbery at Palm Plaza Pharmacy in Tampa

Tampa, Florida -- Police are search for a man who held a pharmacy employee at gunpoint. 

On September 11, around 2:11 p.m., the suspect entered the Palm Plaza Pharmacy on South Dale Mabry Highway. Reportedly, he jumped over the counter and held the employee at gunpoint. He took medications, the clerk's wallet, phone and cash from the register. 

The suspect fled in away in a car. The suspect is described as:

  • A Black male
  • Stocky, muscular build
  • Carrying a small revolver
  • Last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, blue jeans, baseball cap, gloves and a stocking over his face
  • His vehicle is described as a gold, small SUV type vehicle.
