Tampa, Fl. - This weekend, there's a fundraising event for the young woman who survived an attack outside the Bloomingdale Library in 2008. Queena was raped, beaten and left to die.

Since then she's been working hard to recover from that attack. But what if she was able to protect herself? The fundraiser is a self defense class called "Fighting for Queena."

Queena's sister, Anna Vuong and Title Boxing Club owner, Amy Ray joined The Morning Show on Friday to talk about Queena's condition and the fundraiser.

Title Boxing Club is requesting a $20 donation which will be given to Queena's ongoing medical expenses. With that donation, participants will receive a free pair of hand wraps, and if interested, the normal membership fee of $99 will be waived and a 30% discount on gloves will be available.

"Fighting for Queena" takes place Saturday, July 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Title Boxing Club at 889 East Bloomingdale Avenue in Brandon.
