Tampa Bay, Florida -- Tuesday will start off warm, mostly sunny, and muggy; with showers and storms expected to develop later in the afternoon across inland areas.  Storms will likely occur through the evening for areas west of I-75, as sea breeze collisions and outflow boundaries occur.

High temperatures will stay in the low 90's with "feel like" temperatures ranging from 95 to 105 degrees.

This pattern will last through midweek until a winds shift occurs. That shift will bring more SW winds to the area, producing early morning storms along the coast then more scattered storms inland.

Tuesday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Heat index values as high as 97. Calm wind becoming south southwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. East southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Friday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Southwest wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
