Cora came to the Suncoast Animal League on January 12, 2013 from Sebring Animal Services. She was emaciated and positive for heartworms. And, it was obvious that she had several litters of puppies. To say the least, her life had not been easy or pleasant.

After more than a month, she had regained her weight and strength. Her next hurdle was to go through the heartworm treatment. Although she had a reaction to the treatment, she eventually battled through.

The two year old Cur mix, is now healthy and robust. Cora has issues with cats and some dogs but she adores people. Her favorite part of the human anatomy has become the lap. She loves quiet walks and sitting be your side. She is quite the kisser and her tail is always in wag mode. She is a powerful dog and yet, very gentle, quiet and calm. She is by every sense of the word, a companion.

Cora should be an only pet and you will soon find her to be your "one and only."  For more information about Cora, please call the Suncoast Animal League office at 727-786-1330.  Suncoast Animal League is a non-profit, no-kill, no-time limit animal rescue agency, taking in abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals.  We are located at 1030 Pennsylvania Ave, Palm Harbor, FL.
