ST. PETERSBURG, Florida - April is Autism Awareness Month and you have a chance to help local children with autism participate in summer activities.

HOPE Autism Foundation was born out of Tom Scheu's desire to help families find community involvement activities for their autistic children. He has twins with autism and has seen the negative affects not having that opportunity can do to a family. So, he started a foundation to raise awareness and create summer programs.

Scheu joined us for The Morning Show on Saturday to talk about a fundraiser that will help raise money for the foundation.

From 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings in New Port Richey Saturday night, 15% of your bill with support the HOPE Autism Foundation. Wear blue to show your support for autism awareness.
