Bradenton, FL -- Manatee High School assistant football coach Rod Frazier may not be the only one in trouble once police wrap up their investigation.

Bradenton Police Chief Michael Radzilowski confirms that the State Attorney's Crimes Against Children Division is also looking into the situation to make sure state laws for reporting any possible abuse were followed.

Under state law, school district employees are required to call the state's Department of Children and Families if they suspect or hear about allegations of abuse.

If someone failed to act, School Board Vice Chair Julie Aranibar saidshe will not be happy.

"Accountability means whoever didn't do their job shouldn't have their job. That's what accountability truly means," she told 10 News on Thursday.

A female student at Manatee High reportedly said Frazier improperly touched her, asked for a naked picture and, at one point, told her he loved her.

Frazier, who is also a parent liaison at Manatee High, was placed on paid administrative leave last November as the district investigated the allegations. However Frazier's leave lasted just one day before he was allowed to return to work.

The day Frazier came back was also the same day Manatee faced St. Petersburg Northeast in the playoffs.

School officials said they won't answer questions about the Frazier case or the district's initial investigation because of the ongoing criminal investigation.

This week, three female students told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune they were never questioned last year about what they saw, even though their names were given to school officials.

Earlier this month Frazier was placed back on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal investigation.
