The robbery took place on January 15 around 9:30 p.m. The two suspects walked into the store, ordered a clerk to get on the ground and then demanded money and cigarettes from another clerk.

After the clerk handed over the items, one of the two suspects used his gun to strike him over the head, and then the two ran away.

Officials say the suspect who turned himself Friday was also identified by numerous Crime Stoppers tips.

Because he is just 16-years-old, 10 News had chosen not to include his name.

The teen was arrested charged with Armed Robbery.

The second suspect has not yet been identified.

Officials ask anyone with information that may assist them in solving this case to call Detective Jeff Capra of the Robbery/Homicide Unit: 727-582-6200.
